Orford printer to open Pop Up Shop in Framlingham

Local printer Aspen Press will open a Pop Up Shop in Framlingham from October 28th to November 3rd.

Aspen Press produces a range of cards and stationery. Using traditional methods, they produce useful, beautiful products.

They hand set movable lead type on a variety of letterpress machines including a vintage Golding Pearl treadle press built in 1910 using high quality paper and card milled in the United Kingdom. Whenever possible they prefer to use paper from English mills who have strong sustainability policies but they do use other papers on occasion.

Their notebooks are hand stitched and hand trimmed.

From design to delivery they hand produce small batches of products that are available through their Etsy shop, through a small network of retailers and at selected events.

In addition to producing their own range of in-house designed cards and stationery, they also take on commission work utilising their large library of vintage typefaces and ornaments.

The Pop Up Shop will offer a wide range of their hand produced products which are ideal as Christmas gifts.
